Summer Campout
Camp Toodik, Loudenville, Ohio
A great weekend campout has been planned for the entire family. This event will feature camping (beginning Friday night), and canoeing (late Saturday morning). We will also have a bonfire on Saturday night. Our goal is a full campout experience for the whole family.
To campout, you must call Camp Toodik directly to reserve your camp site, and they will require a $40.00 deposit via credit card. All sites have full hookups (water and electricity). Advance reservations are required. Tell them you are with Cuyahoga Valley Native Sons Native Daughters. Contact Info for Camp Toodik: Phone: 1-877-886-7866. Additional information may be found at www.camptoodik.com. For camping, please be sure to bring your own tent, camper or opt to sleep under the stars, and pack enough food for the weekend.
On Saturday evening we will have a group picnic. The Longhouse will provide the charcoal and lighter & Toodik has the grills. Just bring your own main entrée (meat), and a dish to share with the group – Native sons bring a dessert and Native daughters bring a side dish. We’ll have a picnic feast fit for a Chief!
