Rising Waters Safari Camp is an African-themed overnight Zoo adventure. Campers at Rising Waters stay in the Zoo's African Savanna, for an authentic safari experience. The program combines elements of African culture, such as the making of tribal masks and a story circle, with conservation-oriented activities and a visit with some of the Zoo's smaller African animals.

Night hikes, snacks, and fun (and free Zoo admission Sunday following the program!) make Rising Waters a memorable experience for kids of all ages. Campers sleep over safari-style in large canvas tents with bunk beds.

Arrive at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo at 6:45 PM on Saturday, June 25^th.  Program ends at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 26^th, but includes free zoo admission following the program. The cost is $38/person. Capacity limited to 48 campers, so register soon. Note: registration closes on May 31^st due to the Zoo’s deadline for registration.
